For 100 years, Norfolk Wildlife Trust has been working to protect Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places. From its beautiful coastline and wetlands to its woodlands, meadows and nature reserves, the Trust has helped to safeguard some of the county’s most important habitats for generations.
This year, we’re proud to be supporting Norfolk Wildlife Trust as it celebrates its centenary – a partnership that feels particularly special given HPB’s own connection to Norfolk.

A partnership rooted in Norfolk
HPB Barnham Broom is set in the Norfolk countryside, surrounded by the landscapes and wildlife that make this part of the country such a special place to visit. Whether you’re exploring the waterways of the Broads or the vibrant coastline, there are countless opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.
Our partnership with Norfolk Wildlife Trust has given us the opportunity to support the Trust’s work over the years, helping to protect the species and landscapes that make Norfolk so special.
Since 2019, HPB has been donating £300 to Norfolk Wildlife Trust for every member who becomes an HPB Bondholder, and we’re pleased to be continuing this initiative. The donations help the Trust carry on its work protecting Norfolk’s natural environment.
As well as the donations, Bondholders have discounted access to some of the Norfolk reserves, and there are regular talks exclusively for Bondholders while staying at Barnham Broom. It’s a partnership that brings together two organisations with a shared appreciation for Norfolk and everything it has to offer.

Discovering the beauty of Norfolk
The Trust’s centenary year has also provided plenty of opportunities to celebrate Norfolk’s wildlife and explore some of the places it works to protect.
This month, several Bondholders joined a Norfolk Wildlife Trust event at Cley and Salthouse Marshes, led by local author and naturalist David North.
The autumn wildlife walk, organised by the Trust and open to the wider public, explored the reserve as the landscape began its transition towards winter. David shared his knowledge of the wildlife and habitats found across this important coastal landscape, with the group looking out for the seasonal arrivals and departures that mark this time of year.
For the Bondholders who took part, it was a chance to spend time in one of Norfolk’s most remarkable natural environments and learn more about the flora and fauna that call it home.
The event was a great example of how our partnership with Norfolk Wildlife Trust helps us to celebrate and support the natural environment around Barnham Broom. With the property in the heart of Norfolk, Bondholders can enjoy the county’s landscapes throughout the year.

100 years of protecting wild places
A century of conservation is a remarkable milestone, and Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s centenary provides an opportunity to celebrate the environments that make Norfolk so distinctive.
We’re delighted to continue our partnership during this special year and to support the Trust’s ongoing work.
Whether you’re walking along the coast, exploring the Broads or simply enjoying the countryside around Barnham Broom, Norfolk offers plenty of opportunities to get closer to nature.
