More about Santa Rosa
Costa Teguise is situated on the eastern side of Lanzarote and has all the attributes of a holiday destination without the commercialism found in other resorts on the island. It is also home to the delightful private resort of Santa Rosa.
One attraction of Lanzarote is, of course, the year-round sunshine, which you can enjoy on a choice of fine sandy beaches. However, the island offers much more than just sun and sea.
The landscape is both unusual and dramatic. Although parts are covered by volcanic rock, forming spectacular lunar landscapes, much of the island is alive with the lush colours of exotic plants and greenery. What's more, Lanzarote possesses a rich, cultural heritage that is the envy of other, far larger islands.
If you're looking for a holiday property in Lanzarote which is child friendly, has plenty of luxury amenities, a swimming pool and is less than ten minutes away from the beach, our Costa Teguise holiday homes are an ideal choice.
Surf, bathe and play on some beautiful beaches
Lanzarote boasts 213kms of coastline, with beaches to suit every type of holidaymaker. Surfers should head to the beach at Famara, as the waves here are perfect to ride. Families looking for somewhere safe to swim and play may prefer Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca or Puerto del Carmen.
As you might have guessed, Costa Teguise is the closest to the resort, whereas Playa Blanca is the furthest away. Whichever beach you choose, each gives your family the chance to try out various watersports, should you get bored of building sandcastles.
Explore incredible volcanic caves
The Jameos del Agua are incredible sight to behold. Located inside one of the world's longest volcanic tunnels, which was created following the eruption of La Corona Volcano, these caves hold many treasures within. There's a stunning garden with large swimming pool, a bar, a dance floor and even a cave which is used for concerts. The acoustics makes the caves ideal for musical and ballet performances, so you may even have the chance to catch a show during your trip.
Enjoy the amazing volcanic landscapes
Also known as the Fire Mountains, the Timanfaya National Park's multi-coloured landscape will blow you away. It consists of several volcanic lava fields which can only be accessed via several marked footpaths, as the flora and fauna requires special protection. Alternatively, you can explore the national park on a camel!
