Turunç, Turkey
Physkos Amenities

Shops and restaurants

There are a number of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. They offer a good range of choices for a small resort, from traditional, local Turkish dishes to typical English breakfasts.

In terms of shops, there are plenty to choose from, including supermarkets and the usual tourist spots selling beach gear and souvenirs. There are also lots of jewellers.

In contrast to Turunç's understated beauty, Marmaris is just a dolmus (a shared mini bus or taxi) ride or boat trip (in season) away, offering unrivalled shopping and a vibrant night life.

On-site facilities

There is a small honesty bar which, most months, also offers two evening meals each week.

The bar/restaurant doubles as a clubroom with games, and a book and DVD library. All the villas have their own private unheated 4m x 8m swimming pools (with a consistent depth of 1.3m).

A games room located in the basement of one of the apartment buildings also has:

  • Pool table
  • Children's play area
  • 2 PCs with internet access
  • Other facilities

Visitors also have free access to the Dionysos Hotel (may be restricted during high season) and its beach club, the Dionysos Sea Club, in Kumlubük. The Club provides an exclusive beach club service throughout the day, with its excellent restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

During the winter season, villa three's private pool is heated and used as the communal heated pool. The usual large communal pool is heated between March and May, and also in October. It is unheated from June to October, depending on ambient temperature and the weather.
