El Balcón de Santa Ana

Playa de Santiago, La Gomera

The apartments of El Balcón de Santa Ana rise up on the coastal cliffs to the south of the island, looking out over the glinting Atlantic Ocean. Though the site is sloping, a comprehensive ramp system has been installed to make it as accessible as possible for wheelchairs. There is reasonably good access to the ground-floor apartments, but four properties especially have been well adapted for accompanied wheelchair access. The Santa Ana apartments are a good choice for those travelling as a couple, or for small family groups; one-bedroom apartments are able to sleep a maximum of three and the majority of two-bedroom apartments can sleep five guests, though two of the two-bedroom apartments can only accommodate a maximum of four. All the apartments are single-storey and the first-floor apartments have balconies, most of which provide good views. The ground-floor apartments have access to a terrace area reached via doors from the living room, so you can sit out and enjoy warm evenings together. One of the pools is positioned at the foot of the apartments and garden, and this is in a beautiful position to overlook the endless expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. The apartment blocks are modern and practical, with all two-bedroom properties located on the ground floor while all the one-bedroom units occupy the first floor. Each room is furnished to a high standard and an open-plan living area has comfortable, homely furnishings.

All apartments are well furnished with all you will need during your stay, and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials. Inviting living spaces allow you to enjoy an evening in with family. All bedrooms sleep two in either a double or twin beds, and extra sleeping facilities are provided for those apartments that can house extra guests. All of the first-floor apartments have a balcony and the ground-floor properties have a terrace area.

This advertisement is issued by HPBM registered at HPB House, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 8EH. HPBM is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is the main UK agent and the property manager for HPB, issued by HPB Assurance Limited ("HPBA") registered in the Isle of Man and authorised by the Financial Services Authority there. The Trustee of HPB is HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Limited registered at HSBC House, Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE1 1GT. The Securities Manager is Stanhope Capital LLP of 35 Portman Square, London, W1H 6LR.

You should only invest in HPB for its holiday benefits – consistent quality and a no profit "user charge" to cover costs rather than a commercial rent. Although you can surrender your investment back to the company after two years or more you should not expect a full return of what you have paid. What you get back will reflect initial and ongoing charges and costs as well as changes in the value of the properties and securities in the fund in which your money, after charges, is invested. A summary of initial and ongoing charges is in section E of the Product Particulars. Exceptionally surrender may be deferred up to twelve months. Minimum initial payment £5,000 and then a quarterly fee of around thirty pounds linked to RPI. No medical examination required. HPB is available exclusively through HPBM who will only charge for their services if you invest.

HPBM promotes only HPB and is not independent of HPBA. Holders of policies issued by HPBA will not be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the company becomes unable to meet its liabilities to them but Isle of Man compensation arrangements apply to new policies.
