There are two things that characterise our family. We’re quite outdoorsy; and we love to do things together. And Henllys ticked both boxes: the location is spectacular, the grounds and woodland surrounding the site enabled us to connect with nature (we couldn’t believe how many red squirrels we saw on the Woodland Walk), and we really enjoyed each other’s company on family days out, to places like Snowdonia. The onsite facilities are great, too. The kids tried their hands at golf on Henllys’s 18-hole County-standard course. And we all enjoyed the games room and the indoor swimming pool.
