Tigh Mor Trossachs' sixteen holiday cottages are an addition to the original building - but you wouldn't know it, so seamlessly do they fit with the overall ambience of this fairy tale Scottish "castle". The cottages are all two-storey and two bedroom, with the exception of one one-bedroom cottage. The two-bedroom properties sleep four, though most of them can sleep six guests if necessary, with z-beds or a sofa bed provided in the living area to accommodate the two extras. Tigh Mor's cottages are as homely and "cottage-y" as you could wish - yet boast a comprehensive range of fixtures and fittings. Everything you could need easily to hand, for the preparation of a quick snack, or a five-course repast. Olde-worlde charme - without olde-worlde hardship! If it's a fancy dinner party you're planning, you'll be well equipped. Or perhaps you prefer a quiet night in? Relax with a cup of coffee and snuggle up in front of a film from our exclusive DVD library. The cottages at Tigh Mor offer comfortable, communal living, plus a degree of privacy when you need it. The units lend themselves to family holidays, or to trips away with a group of friends. None are far away from the main building, with its clubhouse and other communal facilities - but there's a degree of separation, of autonomy, of independence, that some will find welcome. As with all the holiday units at Tigh Mor, the cottages are decorated in a manner sensitive to the local environment; soft hues echo the surrounding heathers, gorse and pine - and the odd splash of tartan here and there will leave you in no doubt that you're in Scotland!


All the cottages are furnished and well equipped with modern conveniences. The kitchens are well appointed; when it comes to cooking time and kitchen space, our self-catering cottages will leave nobody in doubt that we have thought of everything, and we provide a long list of equipment. Dining tables and comfortable dining chairs make family get togethers easy and enjoyable. Cookers, toasters, kettles and most of what you may require is provided in this home from home cottage setting.

You should only invest in HPB for its holiday benefits – consistent quality and a no profit "user charge" to cover costs rather than a commercial rent. Although you can surrender your investment back to the company after two years or more you should not expect a full return of what you have paid. What you get back will reflect initial and ongoing charges and costs as well as changes in the value of the properties and securities in the fund in which your money, after charges, is invested. Minimum initial payment £5,000 and then a quarterly fee of around thirty pounds linked to RPI. No medical examination required.
