Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Pembrokeshire

Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Pembrokeshire

Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is certainly a favourite for younger ones. In Pembrokeshire, and located close to Templeton, sits this great family attraction. Folly Farm has all kinds of friendly farmyard animals for kids to meet including piglets if you're lucky, shetland ponies and goats, among others. The Follywood Country Park is found at the back of the farm area, leading to a nature walk. Here you can also hop aboard the land train and take a tour round the farm's rare breeds.

But the zoo is the best bit! Visitors have the chance to see over 50 different species including giraffes, monkeys, ocelots (which look like mini leopards), zebras, tapirs, penguins, an array of birds and reptiles and much, much more! What really completes the attraction is the extensive play areas. The adventure park offers great fun ranging from a speedy racetrack to the Dragon Adventure which has climbing frames, slides and sandpits for the youngest fun-seekers. This is the perfect place for children ranging from 0 to 12 years, with so much on offer. And with the enormous indoor play area and choice of cafés, it doesn’t even matter what the weather is doing.

The season is just getting up and running again in February and as of the 14th will be open every day of the week. To double check opening times and for more information check out their website here.
