The Scarborough Jazz Festival 2015

The annual Scarborough Jazz Festival returns between the 25th - 27th September and a fantastic line up is due to perform at The Spa Complex in this popular North Yorkshire seaside town.

The Spa is a Grade II listed building in South Bay and is an excellent venue for live music and events. Each September the Spa welcomes a great range of live music acts. A whole selection of performances will keep everyone entertained, no matter what your taste in music, with a mix of well-established performers and newer, developing groups too. Artists from both the UK and America will be featured during this three-day event; acts range from a 26-piece Orchestra to vocal jazz soloists, and everything in between.

Some highly anticipated names and groups will be joining the festival such as Ian Shaw, Zoe Gilby, Jean Toussaint, Michael Janisch and The Weave, so all different styles of jazz will be covered. The Saturday evening session Café Society is an atmospheric show that depicts the thrilling world of the New York nightclub during its progression to fame during Depression-era America. A number of Fringe events will also be taking place across the long weekend such as a children's jazzy teddy bears' picnic, blues music and choir singing.

Tickets are already selling out fast, but there's still some left if you fancy it. Take a look online to book: Jazz.scarborough/tickets
