Callander Jazz & Blues Festival

The Callander Jazz & Blues Festival takes place every year in Callander, a small Scottish town at the edge of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park that is often referred to as the 'gateway to the Highlands'.

Callander enjoys a great location with fantastic views and the Jazz & Blues Festival is always held on the first weekend of October, which falls this year on the 2nd – 4th. Attracting people from all over, the festival is now in its 10th year and promises to be a good one!

The weekend will be hosting a range of live music events with great headline acts such as The Swing Commanders and Jackson Sloan. All will be taking place in a number of venues in and around this Trossachs town; you could even take a trip on the Jazz Cruise and enjoy the gentle sounds whilst admiring the stunning views of Loch Katrine and Ben Venue. There will be the opportunity for open mic sessions if you fancy getting involved yourself. With all styles of jazz and blues music featured there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

If you'd like to take part in the open mic sessions give the festival office a call on 01877 339399.

Or to book tickets and for more information, take a look at the website:
