Travelling solo doesn’t mean going alone

Visit new places, make new friends

Find out how the Bond Companions Club gives you the chance to meet like-minded people on holiday

A number of our Bondholders are single, widowed or divorced, or have a partner who is no longer able to travel due to health reasons. At HPB, we believe that being solo shouldn’t hold you back from having a holiday, which is why we created the Bond Companions Club (BCC).

Join the BCC and you’ll be able to take your pick from short breaks and longer holidays designed to help holidaymakers meet up and make new friends. BCC short breaks are held in good quality hotels in the UK and abroad, with an itinerary of day trips and meals all planned for you. Recent destinations have included London, Barcelona and York.

The club also arranges around 20 holidays a year at Bond sites. To come along, simply pay the Points and User Charge as you would normally. They are independent holidays, but we arrange a welcome meal and various excursions too. It’s an easy way to meet people and form lasting friendships.

Join today and look forward to friendly holidays

Bondholders can join the Bond Companions Club for just £12 a year if paying by Direct Debit. As soon as you become a member, you’ll be able to look forward to short breaks and longer holidays in the company of people who could become friends for life.

“It was actually some Bondholder friends of mine who encouraged me to join the BCC after the death of my wife. It’s nice to be holidaying in the company of like-minded people, some of whom are in the same position as me.”
Mike Johnson, Wiltshire

“Thank you for organising the break in Torquay. As you know, it was my first weekend and I was surprised by the ease with which you made me feel at home and the group made me feel like ‘One of the herd.’”
David Short, Devon

“I have always found that if you make the effort there will be plenty of people wanting to make friends.”
Frank Crawford, Stirlingshire
