Don't miss a thing...

Discover all that your chosen destination has to offer - with an HPB-exclusive accompanied tour.

During your holiday, you'll probably want to take advantage of a guided sightseeing tour. And, of course, you'll have no shortage of choice.

Your site manager will be pleased to advise on the many accompanied excursions that are available to you - many of which are offered only to Holiday Property Bondholders.

There are several advantages to choosing an HPB exclusive excursion - not least the fact that your guide will collect you from (and return you directly to) the HPB Bond site.

Which means no time wasted travelling to other hotels and meaning more time to spend enjoying your chosen attractions.

In addition, you can be confident that

  • your guide will be well-informed, engaging and enthusiastic and a fluent English speaker;
  • your coach or mini bus will be modern, comfortable and air-conditioned; and
  • the attractions, shops and restaurants that you visit during your trip have been researched and are considered to be of a high standard in terms of service and value for money.

To browse the available excursions, simply choose your location from the menu on the right. And be sure to drop by often, as we'll be adding new tours regularly.

Excursions in Puglia

Our management team at Trullidea arrange a wide range of trips and activities, with their aim being to provide something for everyone.

MATERA - Matera is a wonderful town and has been called the most fascinating city in southern Italy. It is both beautiful and intriguing. It is a town that UNESCO has proclaimed as a world heritage site. The town is famous for its Sassi or caves from the Paleolithic age (dating back to 1500 B.C.). The caves are divided into the Sasso Caveoso and the Sasso Barisano. At one time the people of Matera lived in the cave dwellings. The town actually sits on the edge of a deep gorge and there are caves on either side of the gorge. In the 1950s the people living in the caves were forced to move out and find new homes. The area was then and continues to be taken care of and preserved. I enjoyed walking and climbing the hills and steps to see the many different homes and churches (in the caves). Make sure you walk the Strada dei Sassi.

CASTEL DEL MONTE - Resting on a peak rising over background of the Murgia, Castel del Monte, should in no way be omitted from this quest for Frederician castles in the Bari provincial area. 18 Km. from Andria on a hill 540 mt. high and overlooking a vast expanse, it is famous for its octagonal structure, Each of its sides measures 16.50 mt; its geometric harmony depends on the fact that there are eight 25 metre Octagonal towers. It was very probably built as a hunting residence by Frederick II (keen on hunting with falcons) between 1229 and 1249.

Trullidea can be contacted at infohpb@alice.it or by telephone on 0039 0804323860 should you wish to make a booking or discuss the options available to you prior to arriving in Puglia.
